II Naurava Performanssi –festivaali

Orivedellä Pirkanmaalla

Tämä on julkinen kutsulle Sinulle taiteilijana osallistua meidän karnevalistiseen performanssifestivaaliimme Orivedellä, ja tulla esittämään performanssisi siellä.

Festivaali järjestetään 1. – 3.4.2011 aprillipäivän aikaan. Ajankohdan ja teeman vuoksi performanssien odotetaan olevan koomisia, satiirisia, parodisia, groteskeja, absurdeja – tai muulla tavoin hupaisia.

Samaan aikaan Oriveden Opistolla pidetään Huumorin & Satiirin päiviä. Se tarkoittaa poikkitaiteellisia työpajoja ja luentoja, joissa käsitellään naurattavia ilmiöitä. Näin ollen performanssintekijöillä on mahdollisuus tutustua kirjailijoihin, muusikoihin ja muihin taiteilijoihin

sekä taidealojen opiskelijoihin vierailunsa aikana.

Osallistujille tarjotaan mahdollisuus esittää performanssinsa maksutta Orivedellä.

Oriveden Opisto tarjoaa myös maksuttoman majoituksen performansseja esittäville

taiteilijoille 1.- 3.4.2011.

The 2^nd Laughing Performance –festival

At Orivesi, Finland

This is a public invitation for You as an artist to participate our carnivalistic performance festival, in the town of Orivesi, and also show your performance there.

The festival will be arranged from 1^st to 3^rd April 2011, during the international April Fool’s Day.

Due to the connection with carnivals and fooling the performances are expected to be comical, satirical, parodical, grotesque, absurd – or laughing in any other way.

Simultaneously, there will be Days of Humor & Satire at our college. It means a series of lectures concerning laughable matters and art workshops, so you’ll have an opportunity to meet writers, musicians, other artists and students of arts, during your visit.

Orivesi is a small country town of 9000 inhabitants, in the southern Finland. It is situated 200 kilometers to the North from Helsinki. In April, the spring starts and weather is getting warmer, it might also be still quite cold and winter like. But anyway, that is not a problem during the days of April Fools.

We shall offer You a free chance to bring your performance to the festival and free accommodation at the Orivesi College Hostel from 1^st to 3^rd February, 2011.
